Accredited Massage Schools

In the spirit of independence, self-reliance, integrity & consciousness,

ASIS has opted to remain unaccredited.

As a result, our tuition can remain affordable,

and our curriculum can continue to be fresh, rigorous, dynamic and non formulaic!

Accreditation is both a status and a process, and does not insure quality education nor does it guarantee employment.

Although it is true  that education is the key to climbing the economic ladder, many private for-profit technical schools leave students with a heavy burden of student loan debt (according to a new report from The College Board).  Some schools use the fact that they are accredited, therefore eligible for financial aid, to entice students into enrolling. Students then fail to realize just how much debt they will be graduating with.*

At ASIS Massage Education we are committed to sustainability across all aspects of our life:

Environmentally, Nutritionally, Emotionally, Educationally, & Financially!

Although we do not subscribe to accreditation, we do follow state laws, and professional protocols, while preparing thorough, thoughtful massage therapists, eligible to sit for state license exams .

We are:

* According to a summer of 2010 report by the US Department of Education:

1 out of every 5 university students default on their student loans;

2 out of 5 Community College students default on their student loans:

4 out 5 Private Technical School students default on their student loans.
