Illinois Massage Faculty

In keeping with Yeats idea that “Education is not the filling of a bucket, but the lighting of a fire,”  ASIS Massage Education is offering a unique opportunity for Community Colleges nationwide to develop and manage a traditional massage therapy school on college campuses.

Our holistic, transpersonal philosophy will set your college apart from traditional tech schools, and community college programs.   Our thorough “Massage Teacher Training,”  prepares  instructors to educate the whole student.

The job of an educator is to teach students to see vitality in themselves.
Joseph Campbell

ASIS instructors engage with their students because they believe in the importance of this work. We offer a diverse group of qualified practitioners, who believe in high standards, kindness, and generosity.  With excitement for their respective fields and commitment to a collaborative educational process, our teachers choose to teach because they believe in the possibilities of their students, and massage therapy as a profession.

ASIS Mission Statement

The aspiration that guides ASIS is to create a safe, supportive, and evocative learning environment, while celebrating the diversity, uniqueness, and beauty of each individual being’s body, mind, and soul.

ASIS is owned and operated by a collective of educators who are committed to expending life experiences, spreading joy, and increasing a desire to seed the love of learning.

“Education is not the answer to the question. Education is the means to the answer to all questions.”
– William Allin

Each of us organizes to meet the world in our own way. Like wind chimes in the breeze, the sounds evoked tell more about the instrument than the wind. Evoked experiences are more about ourselves than the conditions that evoke them. — Ron Kurtz
