STRUCTURAL INTEGRATION
Structural Integration is a multi-session protocol of myofascial integration designed to promote well being by enhancing the body’s pattern of organization. Structural Integration aligns and balances the body facilitating higher levels of efficiency and ease by lengthening and repositioning of the fascial net. Aligning the physical structure opens the body to new options of perception, proprioception, movement and being. Fascia is the protective layer of connective tissue that surrounds the muscles, bones and organs in the body - it gives muscles their shape and the body its structure. The continuing pull of gravity, the stress of daily activities and physical injuries can pull the body out of alignment. The fascia gradually shortens, tightens and adjusts to accommodate misalignments, creating inefficiency, imbalance, stiffness, discomfort, and loss of energy. Releasing and lengthening restricted fascia allows the body to return to its structurally optimal position, thereby freeing the muscles to move more efficiently and with greater ease. Less energy is then required to function; good posture is effortless; breathing is easier; the body becomes more flexible and coordinated and performance improves. The body becomes more flexible, more coordinated and performance improves.
CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENTS:
1. 100% attendance
2. Classroom participation
