Clarkdale/Sedona Campus

Our original ASIS campus is situated on five beautiful acres of high desert, overlooking  Arizona’s longest free-flowing river and the mysterious Sycamore Canyon.  Come study in this retreat-like setting, with endless views of boundless nature.

The facility is 3,800 square feet, with a 1,300 square foot classroom. There are expansive porches and a courtyard where students gather for lunch and breaks. This is all located on the banks of the Verde River, adjacent to one of Audubon’s premier birding sights, just minutes from the glorious Red Rocks of Sedona.

This area is still blessed with untamed nature, year-round water, and abundant wildlife. Within walking distance, one can explore Tuzigoot National Monument or the tasting rooms of Arizona’s burgeoning wine industry. Within an hour’s drive one can experience elevations ranging from 1,200 feet to 12,000 feet.

Neighboring towns include Sedona, Jerome, Flagstaff, Prescott, Payson, and Tuzigoot, an abandoned Anasazi village. Within an hour and a half lies metropolitan Phoenix to the south, the Mogollon Rim to the east, and the Grand Canyon to the north.

At ASIS, exploration of the fabulous local nature is periodically integrated into the curriculum.
