About the facilitator Dr. P.N. Hari
Dr. P.N. Hari is the Trustee & Deputy Director of the Arya Vaidya Pharmacy, a leading and well known Indian Ayurvedic Center, Coimbatore, India. The center is headed by Dr. Krishnakumarji who was recently awarded the prestigious and coveted Padmashree (highest civilian award) for his great and noble work in the Ayurvedic field by the President of India, Smt. Prathibha Devisingh Patil, in 2009. The center has 38 hospitals worldwide, 80 direct branches, and over one thousand Ayurvedic drug stores with resident physicians.
Dr. P.N.Hari born in a lineage of Ayurveda practitioners, grew up in Thirssur Kerala. He learned Sanskrit from the age of 10 from his father and his guru. At age 15 he moved to Coimbatore ( a major town in South India) to complete his full residential Ayurvedic Medical degree from the Ayurveda College, Coimbatore (Affiliated to Bharathiar University, Coimbatore and Central Council of Indian Medicine, Chennai). After completing 7 1/2 years of Gurukula Eduction (Primitive style of education studying and staying with the masters away from home to live and breathe Ayurveda) .
He practiced under Guru Dr. Vasudevan ( Director of Arsha yoga) for 13 years learning traditional education in Ayurveda,yoga, martial arts (Kalari, primitive Kerala style), Tarka shastra and Indian Astrology.
Dr. Hari along with his Guru formed the ARSHA YOGA PEETAM TRUST in 1993 at the Arya Vaidya Pharmacy, Coimbatore, where he has provided more than 25000 hours of training to local and international students learning Ayurveda and Yoga.
Responsible for academics, clinical practice and administration of the Arsha yoga trust for the past 16 years, he has traveled worldwide teaching Ayurveda and yoga. Has treated more than 50,000 patients from all around the globe, that he personally attended to. He dedicates himself to the practice, growth and spread of Ayurveda.
